Villa Bungadesa comprises of four main structures, the Villa Bungadesa was designed to recreate the feeling of Indonesia decades ago. At the same time, all of the modern comforts and conveniences one could possibly seek are provided, including an imported fully equipped kitchen with appliances, fully staffed to assist with your day to day needs. All six (6) bedrooms boast stunning ocean views with spectacular sunsets. The bedrooms are fully air-conditioning and also have ceiling fans, mosquito nets, and safe deposit boxes. Villa Bungadesa has a private telephone, and wireless internet connection.
The villa also features television with satellite connection, DVD/CD players, DVD library, spacious living areas, outdoor bale bengong which overlooks the ocean and lush rice terraces. There are two overflow swimming pools. (10m x 4m) and (12m x 5m) If you prefer to swim or surf in the sea, a private bamboo bridge brings you over the small lagoon to a secluded beach.
The grounds of the estate are covered with lush tropical gardens, palms and manicured lawns. Villa Bungadesa is blessed year round with refreshing ocean breezes and a peaceful atmosphere where you can simply relax or meditate
or stretch out and let your mind wander.
Pavilion Toraja adding strong currents of style from Sulawesi. The first floor is open and the dramatic high ceiling is carried on the pillars of a traditional Javanese Joglo. A lounge area is nestled to one side, and the dining room table that seats 12 is situated to overlook the gardens and Indian Ocean. The upstairs master bedroom smells of rich dark wood, setting a romantic feel to mesh perfectly with the seaview. Sunsets can be enjoyed by reclining in the fantastic kingsize Timor bed which overhangs a rich hand-woven tapestry.
An open terrace, en-suite bathroom and separate study compose the additional living areas of this room. An intricately carved sofa bed is present to facilitate the conversion of the study into an additional sleeping area.
The partially exposed, fully equipped modern kitchen allows for flexibility in usage, whether guests would like to cook socially for themselves, or be served by the hidden hands of the talented staff. Divided from the living area by a water pond and stepping-stones is the first floor master bedroom. It is fitted with a king size canopy bed, and its own private terrace. A walk-in wardrobe and an ensuite open-air bathroom are added highlights. Bathing Balinese women overlook the luxury bathtub from a stunning limestone carving.
Timor Pavillion is dedicated to one large bedroom with its own private terrace overlooking the grounds. The terracotta floor adds richness to the room, complimented by the king-sized canopy bed. Shell-inlay doors lead to the open-air bathroom, complete with a small garden. Hidden under the teakwood TV stand is a mini-fridge. Indonesian puppets stand poised above.
On the second floor, the first room consists of an open living area with a Madura daybed and kitchenette. From this space, you can take in the sea air while resting in total privacy or you can retreat into the bedroom. Two single canopy beds have been specially designed to easily convert into a single king-sized bed, for added versatility along with an en-suite bathroom.
Irian Pavilion the guesthouse, is set apart from the other units
to offer complete privacy. This round building, topped with a high alang-alang (thatched) roof, houses one bedroom and its own private ensuite open-air bathroom. The queen-sized bed is covered with brilliant batik linens, adding a spice of color to the room. A large day bed is ideal for a midday siesta, or to put a child to rest. From the private terrace, you can overlook the flourishing rice terraces and the blooming lotus garden.
Lombok Pavilion is modeled after a traditional Balinese rice barn.
A brick-style kitchen with marble, terrazzo counters makes up the open first floor.
The bathroom of this Pavilion is behind the kitchen. A high staircase leads
to a private open terrace, and to the bedroom beyond, all of the furnishings of which are created from bamboo. Two single canopy beds pushed together to form a king bed. A bamboo ladder leads to a secret doorway,
opening up to a second private terrace, specifically for the purposes of seaviews and meditation.
