Prominent features of the house are its large open-air living room opening on the pool deck, providing an easy transition from indoors to out.  Its large freeform swimming pool has an eye-catching shape, emphasizing and reinforcing the minimalist features of the villa.  The décor is funky yet stylish, pulling a mix of elements together into a modern and youthful combination.
 
The two buildings feature a mix of stone, wood and marble flooring.  High ceilings grace all the rooms with the focus of the complex being inwards toward the swimming pool.  All the bedrooms feature air-conditioning, with fans decorating the ceilings within the open-air areas.  A bathtub large enough for more than two looking out onto is own private garden is the focal point of the master bedroom.  There are four full-sized bedrooms with queen-sized bed, all with ensuite bathrooms.  Additional sleeping space is provided with the inclusion of a fifth bedroom featuring a single bed intended for use by children or nannies. 
 
Located within walking distance of the famous La Luciola restaurant and the Oberoi beach, this villa is within easy striking distance of many of the islands hotspots such as the Living room restaurant and Ku dé Ta.  A villa for relaxation and play!

Staff

The Maharaj is managed by Bali’s leading property services company, Bali Homes Management.

The Maharaj is fully serviced by:

• A full-time house manager
o Oversees and coordinates the staff and property and is available to assist guests during their stay.
• One full-time cook
o Trained in the preparation of both local and international cuisine.  A menu is provided, and the cook will do all the market shopping. 
• Three maids
o Responsible for housekeeping duties, taking care of your daily laundry and providing waiter service around the grounds and buildings of the property.
• Four security guards
o Their duties are to patrol the grounds and guard the entrance of the villa from dusk to dawn ensuring your security. 
• One gardener and pool attendant
o Tending the garden and the grounds of the villa.  They ensure that the facilities of the villa run smoothly during your visit.
